'tis the season for foraging wild blueberries on our way to the mailbox. After clearing trees and weeds around a few of them, they're taking off. The first year I was able to pick 3 blueberries total. Now we pick a handful every time we check the mail

Asher made me redbud, clover and hemlock salad with balsamic vinaigrette, and Ayla is making me honeysuckle tea. 5 stars for a rustic ambiance and gourmet culinary artistry 👏

All dolled up for a visit at Amberly's house to "help" fold laundry; one of her favorite things to do. She packed a book and a pack of baby wipes - because you never know - and purposely forgot her shoes. 

Plans to try some new recipes: salsa verde, fried green tomatoes, and maybe "quick pickled green tomatoes".
